Dave Sams
Listening to David Sams is a journey through time and space. Appropriate to the event, he has a large repertoire of music to draw from able to bring back the memories of the years long past David makes the music his own with his rich vocals and mastery of the acoustic guitar. David is equally at home doing blues, Americana, folk or Celtic. He has developed, promoted and performed a popular historically themed railroad tribute. He has delivered this show nationally to appreciative audiences. In addition to performing solo, David performs in a number of duo, trio and quartet ensembles. His solo and ensemble performances have delighted a loyal following in the central and southwestern Ohio area and beyond. He has recently moved into the virtual world and has performed in Second Life, where he is developing an international audience. Whether you want to be amazed with a wizardry guitar performance or dazzled by melodic vocals. David has just the right music to carry you away.



Webb and Stoller
Gene Webb and Margie Stoller became a musical duo in early 2007. Their music is an eclectic mix of folk, rock and country. They have given these traditional genres their own signature sound which features 12 and 6 string guitars and vocal harmonies that can be both soaring and angelic. Their first CD, Goin' Back, includes four Webb & Stoller originals, traditional folk songs, and covers of songs by some of their favorite artists...Roger McGuinn, Townes Van Zandt, Richard Thompson, and Don Williams just to name a few.



Ann and Phil Case

Ann and Phil Case have been singing and playing music together since 1990. They specialize in singing old-time Appalachian duets, old-fashioned parlor songs and Depression-era tunes as well as performing old-time instrumental duets. Ann sings with a rare natural sweetness and plays back-up guitar and fiddle. Phil plays guitar, clawhammer banjo, mandolin and harmonica, and provides harmony vocals. Their sound draws upon the influences of the Carter Family and their contemporaries, early country blues, ragtime, and traditional ballad singing.
Their first CD, The Springtime of Life, was released in 1996 on their own Dry Run Recordings label. Their second CD, Never Grow Old, was released in 1999. Their third CD, Why Should We Be Lonely?, was released in 2003. Their fourth and latest CD, The Old Step-Stone, was released in 2007. These recordings have all received enthusiastic support from public radio programmers across the U.S. and overseas.The favorable reviews they have received in magazines such as Bluegrass Unlimited, Dirty Linen, Tradition, and Sing Out! have earned them a listing in the MusicHound Folk buyer's guide, as well as a feature article in the Summer 2004 issue of The Old-Time Herald. Together, Ann and Phil Case continue to bring reverence, freshness, and vitality to some fine old songs |




Papa Joe
Papa Joe is a singer/songwriter living in the small college town of Oxford, Ohio, about 25 miles north of Cincinnati. He didn't start playing in public until he was in his early 50's, and wrote his first song at age 55. Since then, he has written many songs, some serious and most just plain silly. He has a CD out called Open Mike, (see link on this page). He also performs at various venues in the tri-state (Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana) area. His upcoming shows are shown in the boxes to the right.
Bio
Papa Joe (aka Joe Kretschmer) grew up in Kirkwood, Missouri, in the 1940's and 50's. His careers included teaching in a junior high school in Los Angeles, teaching at Temple University in Philadelphia and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. After leaving education, he worked as a technical trainer and computer programmer in Cincinnati and Dayton. He is presently retired, so now he can devote all his time to his real passion, which is performing and songwriting.





David Hisch
David Hisch is an eclectic's eclectic. in a nutshell, if it's music, he wants to be a part of it. his playing experience ranges from: classical guitar ensembles to classic rock bands, big band jazz to german dance bands, pit orchestras to improvisational jam bands, etc. Dave is currently booking gigs with the day fish band, in addition performing solo. He also plays bass with the band moondance (led by longtime friend dave sams) whenever he gets the chance.

2nd full length release "The Kelsey Project" with Michael Kelsey. Single release "Keeper of the pain" with Disciples.
1994-2002: Touring/on the road; acoustic duo with Michael Kelsey.
2002: EP release; "Drinking w/A 3 world."
2002-05': Outside music.
2005-07': Work with songwriter/guitarist David Hisch and various backing musicians under moniker "Day Fish Band." 2007: Single on compilation disc "Close to home: A folk music sampler" (Tasty Orange Music). 2008: 2 tracks on release "Dancing along the dingy days" by Day Fish Band, produced by John Davis of Superdrag(Tasty Orange Music).
